Quick update please

Can you provide an update as to what is being built on the hill located at the end of the street the current police station is located? Sorry don't know the name of the street but was a location for a hotel that was denied but now construction has started.

Light at 54 West has been approved by DOT so construction will start for a new commercial development? Do we know what the anchor store will be for this development?

Light at Wisdom road any progress getting this funded?

Bridge over CSX this year or next? Would just like to know a completed by date.

I am aware of the construction site. It has been there for awhile. Will have to find out what is being built.

Wisdom is progressing again. Should be this year.

Same with the CSX bridge.

With the history of getting hit with delays I hesitate to give firm dates any more.

As for the 54 W development McMurrain has come back and is asking for some plan changes. He wants about 12,000 sq' more for the whole development and wants decrease to 1 Big Box but make it over 63,000 sq' feet now. And wants to pack a 14,400 sq' building right up against the driveway and 54.

Now the claimed anchor is an upscale grocery store. Start date unknown.

Also was reported by Logsdon at a Council Meeting he tried to sell the site to Costco, but the Transition Yard ordinance I pushed does not allow it on the site due to size. I think Logsdon reported it because he didn't like the ordinance and this was a 'see what we won't get because of it' statement in purpose.

I don't see construction starting any time soon. If it did it would be because of the anchor store. I think this may just be to get more footage and a bigger Box.

The site was for a warehouse. But, a number of issue came up and it isn't clear now if anything will be built.
