On the issues of sales tax please understand there is a difference between LOST, SPLOST, county and state incomes.
Last I heard SPLOST is down 3% and LOST is down 8.5%.
So, you only see one sales tax rate but it isn't really just one sales tax charge.
Each is charged and distributed differently.
